So, I've had this for a very long time where my game refuses to join a server, because it doesn't want to download/open a certain custom map. I've searched for ways to fix the issue, but the results I found that could possibly fix it have been futile to me. My KF2 Server custom maps not downloading! So trying to get a KF2 Server setup following the pre-made server (found here) and I leveraged the dedicated server wiki to add some customer maps. I'm running on windows machine, but I don't see the maps getting downloaded to the server at all. · Configuring the server to download files from Workshop: Make sure that the server is not running. Seems some files are capable of being downloaded while others are not. I'd suspect that topfind247.co isn't a common web server extension it's rejecting the download. Just a hunch though. Again, not familiar with IIS. I recommend getting on some forums/help topics related to IIS. As this issue isn't related with KF2. Readme text file references a GUI file (KF2GUI.u) not included in download. Readme file does not address what to do with topfind247.co file. TL;Dr, addon doesnt work, and install instructions lacking or missing and files to be installed are missing. There are two big problems with the Steam workshop and custom maps when used on servers at the moment. One is that for some reason servers aren't downloading updated maps and the other is the server admin always having to manually move the downloaded map into the BrewedPC folder (I don't see why that process can't done automatically when the map is downloaded).
